Made me look up very long term charts. Interestingly enough, DELL is the tanking, indisputable long term winner, thus far:



Never owned DELL, but LOVE my Dell Mini 9 hackie, presently sporting a brand spanking new, dirt cheap cause it's discontinued, 64GB SSD. :-)

As usual, you're right on top of things.

I had, indeed, misread the thing. I was looking at the third set of results, which were for the third category, as being the results of the comparison overall.

I hadn't even realized there was a second page. Having now seen the entire piece, I can see how he reached his conclusion.

One does have to wonder why he thinks it's important to ask whether one should own HP or DELL, as if owning either of them is a good idea.
