People who think overpopulation is a great problem are thinking of the world in a static manner ... there's only so much food and so much wealth so the more people there are, the more it will have to be divided up.

So, why weren't people who lived in 1800 when there was only 1 billion people on earth 7 times as wealthy as we are today?
