Goldman, and friends, here is my response to Northern Miner article: This article contains absolutely nothing new, but just stated with more geological terms and lingo, frankly. The arguments are old, and the impact has already been felt. Furthermore, there are less than 5 Maar Diatreme Gold Dome deposits in the WORLD and FCX is involved with 2 of them, already, and now has 15% of a third one, i.e., BUSANG. So what does this mean: Just that the normal gold distribution in the rest of the earth's crust is 99% of another geological formation. Therefore, In my Humble opinion, to compare the other 99% with the gold occurances in the Busang is not only deeply flawed, it is obvious slanting from this publication from where I stand, anyhow! So they can use qualifier phraseology like almost always and usually but they are still talking about the 99% compared to the handful of Maar Diatreme Gold Dome Deposits. Therefore, I do NOT put much stock in running this red herring back up the flagpole and seeing who is going to salute it. O/49r
