OT very

Reclining hero's pose -"virasana" - many stretchy pretzely people cannot properly do it, previous image included - her form is definitely not elegant at all and while I wouldn't say her form is atrocious, it's not correct and has a lot of compensations.

I think that this image below shows much better form and sounds more in line with how you describe that you do it - congratulations, it is not an easy pose to achieve properly! While you might not be blonde and the terms "thin & young" are highly subjective terms, I'm sure you're beautiful in that pose!

I
Knees together, thighs internally rotated, tush between feet on or near floor (or supported by something to take pressure off knees), spine in neutral alignment or "tadasana" (lower back towards floor - top of pelvis rotated back). Now it is more apparent what's wrong with the previous image, she just throws herself into the pose. The clothes, blondness and {insert inappropriate "B" word here} tends to take people's minds off the deficiencies. The woman above looks relaxed and makes the pose look easy while Ms Boo... eh, Blonde is like - makes you want to grit your teeth and say ouch.

Quite a relaxing pose to be in once mastered (and as I said before - not easy to master), you can fall asleep in it and makes your back feel wonderful.
