The industry needs some carnage before it becomes attractive enough to invest, and the more levered players are mostly protected by hedges this year. As a result, it looks like coal will see bankruptcies before natural gas.

There is still too much hope in the NG industry. Maybe this fall when storage fills up or next year when companies are not well hedged.
