Justa,

When I think about events between now and November that could change your view of the market outlook, these ideas come to mind:

1. Continued falling of crude oil prices (say to the $35 per barrel neighborhood) and gasoline pump prices triggered by OPEC members supportive of the re-election of the current "administration".

2. Supreme Court overturning of Obama"Care" eliminating the related tax increases scheduled to occur starting January 1, 2013.

3. Congressional passing with Obama's approval of an extension of the current tax rules.

4. Mass realization that a change in administrations as a result of the November elections is imminent that will result in movement toward pro-business policies.

What are your thoughts about the above?

P

Hi All,

In this month's review of the markets, I note that my call for a "U' shaped bottom and a rally into earnings season has been a good.

I'm still calling for a lower high to form. The highs could have already happened though we are in the process of setting up for a turn up.

Anyway, I think folks will be wise to lighten positions on strength.
