Trouble is, the left has so much working in their favor that makes a landslide virtually impossible ... and even a Romney win much less probable than it rightfully should be. 'Advantages' that the administration enjoys are: (1) A complicit media, which will generate and magnify all out of proportion any negatives (real or imagined) regarding Romney, his family, or his campaign. And they will downplay, or completely ignore, anything that might be detrimental to the re-election of their Anointed One. Just witness the recent lawsuit filed by 43 Catholic institutions against HHS -- an unprecedented battle between the nation's largest Christian denomination and an American administration -- which was all but completely ignored by the country's main media outlets. (2) Billions in campaign contributions from powerful special interest groups, including a promised $400 million from unions alone. (3) New voter registration laws that dramatically favor the registration of democrat voters (including the dead, the duplicate, and their pet canaries). (4) Massive potential voter fraud already being planned and put in place by the likes of reconstituted ACORN and the like. (5) The fact that the American voter is probably less well-informed than at any time in the nation's history, and there is a certain segment of the electorate that will make up its mind in the last few days of the campaign, during a time when the pro-Obama media blitz will be at fever pitch. If the media were fair and balanced ... if the voting public were knowledgeable and informed ... and if the laws of the land were enforced as they should be ... Mitt Romney would be a shoe-in. But the fact that none of these conditions are a part of reality simply makes the election of 2012 a more difficult one for the conservative/Constitutional cause. It's a good thing (for America) conservatives never shrink from battle, and often defy the odds.
