I can think of nothing more immoral than leaving future generations with a debt they can't begin to pay off. Even if it were possible, by doing so, to avoid pain in the current generation, it would be grossly wrong. Of course, as we all now know, you spend borrowed money from now on and it won't help our own situations one iota.
