If the government is so powerful how come it was not able to bring the big banks under control or prosecute the guilty bankers? Or bring the military industrial complex under control? The rich own congress and the president now. So government is doing what they want, not the poor for christs sake! What is the matter with you that you cannot figure out that it is the ones with power who shape the government and determine the policies? The billionaires will spend one billion to buy congress this year and then they will own it even more. So the only role of big government will be whatever the rich want it to be. You seem incapable of following the simplist logic. You act like the poor have power. What planet do you live on? Can you understand that if the billionaires control government it does what they want. Not what anyone else wants and certainly not the poor. Your thinking is why we are in trouble.
