Aren't there contracts--maybe agreements is more precise--between cos/countries pumping out the same continuous field. Isn't this the claim that Iraq originally made against Kuwait? They were taking out more than the agreed amount over a given time frame?

A BS reason to invade, but were talking about Iraq.

Do you know of any such agreements that impose limits on daily production between same field operators?

Back to aipn...this Chikuduk formation is interesting in that there is lots of speculation that it contains large quantities (jury is still out on this) and if this is proven to be the case, I wouldn't want to see it pass hands too easily.

My understanding is that the Soviet data under review does not include Chikuduk. If this is true I don't expect this formation to be included in any deals near term. What do you think?
