Hi Joan

I wasn't thinking the Fed would buy the bonds and then do the selling but that informally, tacitly, etc., any loan might be contingent on the Fed having some say about the timing and volume of the eventual selling by the BOJ.

Your right, of course, that theorizing is easy. No blood, even if we lop off some inconvenient fingers or limbs here and there!
