Only Bernanke has the reserves necessary to throw Spain a lifeline.

Nonsense. The EU has a $500 billion reserve to aid EU banks. Its estimated that Spain's bank need $40 billion. Furthermore, as soon as the EU it stands behind the banks, Spain's primary problem.........high borrowing rates in the credit markets.........will end.
