We both noticed that and hubby wondered if maybe she was trying to make herself look less attractive? We both agreed that although the do was quite strange, she did not succeed in making herself less pretty.

If I were planning Palin's "post election" marketing, it would be as a "Political Celeb" type of enterprise. If she was willing to tie herself down, Fox would no doubt give her weekend show.
