Please distinguish which part of this post is your post and which part is the other person's words.

As you have written your post there is no distinguishing between what should be in quotes and what should not be in quotes.

Thanks----mj

Farmboy,
Snake handlers .... are fine

the disfiguring of young girls' vaginas ..... isn't

the killing of teenage daughters for dating an infidel ..... isn't

So tell me .. just where does the first amendment end, and the rule of law begin?

Seriously .... what does one do with such conduct, when the constitution appears it may allow it?

You present some interesting situations. Just were does the US, State and governmental laws and case law infringe on religion vs the rights of the general public. Are some laws to be disregarded such as discrimination against women, creed, national origin or life style, or abortion, due not resuscitate laws, (DNR) or countless other actions which could be interpreted as infringement on religion.

Not being a jerk, but yes, I know they are 'interesting situations' ...

I brought them up to see if you had any comments about them ... not just so you could tell me what I already knew.

And why do you post everything in italics? Sure makes it hard to decipher which part of your post is the original poster's post and which part is yours.

this is why liberals have such a tough time with the constitution. it isnt the rights of the general public, it is the rights of individuals. when the practice of a religion violates the rights of individuals, it is not protected by the constitution. the united states is not about the collective. it is about the individual. i

Libs around SI are saying about the Walker win, how could wisconsin people vote against their own interest ?

What ? they did vote for their own interests, they are tired of being taxed to death just so Public sector union people could get raises every year while their salaries stayed the same.

I heard a guy on the radio from Wisc say. 'I saw them marching down the street, Public sector union people, students, commies, professional poor people, union thugs, acorn members and I said to my self, My taxes are paying for all these people and they are coming after me for more money, I said NO MORE and I voted for walker'
