am the way and the truth and the life. Of course there's something of great value to this , just think of any passionate youth filled with all the glorious thoughts & feelings of the eternal & a huge sense of altruism & love in his romantic philosophical heart . This is an experience that all human beings in their youth experience to some degree & it is one of the most glorious times of our existences . When young & filled with the spirit & the immortality of things. And you want to spread the news around the town and people all remember this time in their lives & would be reminded of it . It is the immortal springtime of all human beings of who & what we are in celebration of life its universal & helps fight off fear of our own mortality . Too bad for him that this statement was one of the things that got you hanged in those times , one of the big no-no's you dont do but all in all from this young strident passionate young man in his prime , he was only trying to help but thats the danger of religion . For in stating what he felt & many feel when just a little too enraptured you get warned only once then its your life , when taboos are broken when he says the 2nd part of the verse "only thru me ". Theres nothing so exclusive about this to cause so much controversey & still does cause default by over interpretation...theres nothing so profound about it either that has to be condemned and someone should have to be hanged for shouting out "I got the Rock n Roll in me ! " Which was all the lad was trying to do but got him beaten & hanged didnt it ? Bad religion ...
