“you still have the opportunity to turn away from your Sin” I have no sin. I have lived a moral life according to my reason and my feelings. In effect (as Einstein said)…allowing my ethical behaviour to reflect sympathy, education, and social ties. Any human imperfections I have or any human responses I have indulged are not sins but human attributes. I have been good to people I cared for and I have tried to oppose people I considered a detriment or danger to society. The rest I have left alone--live and let live. “and your Blasphemy” Now you are being silly. Morals are man made but that does not mean they are all reasonable. The “sin” of blasphemy is superstitious nonsense. It is also an insult to the human beings who share this planet with you. They do not need your “Chosen People” denial of their own superstitious faith or perchance their reliance on Reason as Reality. “turn toward Jesus” Please get serious! “the ONLY ONE who is able to free you from your bondage and to save you from HELL!” There is no Jesus. There is no Hell. Your god is one of thousands that people have invented to explain the unknown and basically to explain events that were once inexplicable (earthquakes, floods, rain coming from the sky, the sun moving, invisible spirits moving through trees and everywhere else {that is to say, air}--and so forth). These fancies were appropriate for pre-scientific people. They gave comfort, motivation, and tribal and social control. They are not appropriate for civilized people as they carry dogma that is terribly absurd and they present morals that are ridiculous, harmful, and anchored firmly in superstition rather than the well being of humanity. We now know that human sacrifice does nothing for drought or flood--or anything else. It does not appease or persuade any angry god with a stunted emotional development. It just takes a life. “This is literally the most loving thing that anyone has ever said to you: neighbor. Take it to heart.” Do you think so? Then why do I feel like it was a shallow attempt to impose a mindless superstition on me and to deprive me of my will, my values, my judgement, my integrity, and my being?? Contrary to your assertion, I believe it is one of the most self centered and selfish statements ever made to me. It was not about me at all. It was strictly about you and your mindless attempt to dodge your mortality by sheep walking through the world and by demanding that others turn into sheep and sheep walk with you. Self centered and Selfish to the core. That would be you. Loving?? You are clueless about love and clueless about moral values that come from the heart and the mind. I know a sociopath when I see one.
