RW's observation SI very interesting. The unions shouldn't use the democratic process to assert themselves instead of opting for the smoke filled back rooms of DC. After all, the Tea Party is using the democratic process and not lobbyists. What is needed is for labor to first cleanse their unions of all political interests and go back to their original goal which is to represent workers' interest only. Are you saying that lobbying is a cop out? If so, then maybe unions need to be let to die...........because dying they are in their current configuration.
