I hear you. I was disagreeing with the idea that banks proprietary trading divisions profit much from volatile markets. The prop trading division in a bank is just as likely to lose as it is to gain from volatility.

So anyway, where can I get a 10 year mortgage at 2%? I'll take one of those :-)

Spain gets a 125 Billion bailout and Europe overseas stock markets very strong. The Euro had a 150 point rally overnight, however started selling off as London FX opened and has given 3/4 of the rally back, watch the euro for guidance as to how much we rally today...... I was surprised that it sold off so much after 2 am new york time. .
