"the slave is not since the slave is just property and property can't be a victim, the owner of the slave can be a victim if something happens to his property"

You are wrong. You are not keeping abreast of laws in your area! Slavery is illegal because the slave is not considered property--but rather a person. I understand that for many centuries, Christians considered slaves property, but that ended when the Xtian South surrendered in the U.S. Civil War. I am not discussing THEN. I am discussing NOW.

"the fetus is the victim"

I believe that the fetus can be considered a co-victim in some jurisdictions if a crime is committed against the mother which impacts on the fetus. In those instances, your statement could be considered correct.

In Canada, the fetus is not a person until it completely leaves the body. The mother is an individual but the fetus is not an individual.

Some people may have opinions contrary to law because of their religious beliefs. If you (for instance) believe the fetus is a person, then you could privately consider it a victim and could present arguments to Congress to advocate your viewpoint.

I am using the legal sense of the word 'victim' which generally supposes a crime has been committed against a person. A fetus is not a person and abortion (in most instances) is not a crime. You can figure out the conclusion for yourself.
