the poll was taken by a liberal polling company paid for by a gay right's marriage group.

it went down like this 'what numbers do you want us to come up with ?'

"57-59% keep it under 60 don't want to sound too crazy"

"ok you've got it, that will be 15k"

I would bet you that you are wrong, but I don't want to steal your money. Even if it is true, which I seriously doubt that there is 59% support in the African American Community for gay marriage, the jurisdictions in Maryland which are not dominated by African American voters are extremely conservative, with the exception of Montgomery County. Ordinarily the African American vote goes 90% plus dem. If it only goes 60% they can't win.
