The Wisconsin recall was doomed from the start. Wisconsin did not suddenly turned red even with all the money from the Koch brothers and out of states contributions.

Govt Walker was elected by promising to overhaul the bloated pay roll of the civil servants. You could work 20 years for the state and retire at the age of 43 getting full benefits. I have seen how civil servants work. I was a consultant to the US Navy, and on Monday morning till lunch time was spent on Monday morning quarterbacking. Then, one hour (if not more) going out for a break, then work a few hours, more coffee break and at 4 pm the place was empty.

The union was opposed to Walker's program. I would support Walker as well. Civil servants should not be represented by a union. They are paid by taxpayers money, they are responsible to the people who give them a comfortable living. Even recent studies show that civil servants are paid more than those people working in private companies, especially during this time where a lot of people looking for jobs. It is very hard to fire a civil servant. You have to document every mistake that he/she makes and make the case for terminating an employee. There was a case where the boss was fired because he spent too much time doing the paper work proving that the employee deserved to be fired.

You noticed that Obama gave a lukewarm support for the recall. He knew that it was wrong to give the union power.

Wisconsin will still be blue come November. Don't underestimate the intelligence of the people of that state.

The Wisconsin exit polls projected a tie. But in reality, Walker actually won decisively with about a +7 % margin.

I think you better re-think what you think you think about the Wis exit polls.

The Tea Party movement is growing into an incredibly powerful and effective force...ignore it at your own political peril.

And the Wisconsin voters have provided ample instances of that during the exit polls
