Those are two things while engaging in licensed activities where your possible injuries supposedly may impact the public purse. I disagree with both of those being mandatory, by the way. But they are 'justified' by an argument and not merely imposed.

Wearing a seat belt, however, is a long long way from forcing you to hook your kidney up to me because I require your kidney to survive! Many people do indeed require a kidney to survive and if you and I did not have the right to our own bodies, why couldn't we be forced to hook up to another adult human for the rest of our life? All you would need to say is that not only does a person have a right to life, but it also has a right to live a parasitic existence off of you if that is what it takes to keep it alive. That would mean you do NOT have a right to your own body--but so what? Other people are people--right? If they can live off your bloodstream and if you both belong to the State--then what business is it of yours?? Do you have a problem with that??
