VVV are fine, obviously. But to make a society and an economy work, they need to be practiced by a significant majority of economic actors, public and private. There are millions of people here who do practice VVV but their currency is cheapened by the fact that the public sector is profligate, as are many millions of our compatriots.

That the public sector has become increasingly corrupt is no help.
