What? Bill Maher's been posting here? "being called a cunt" Can someone show me the post in question? I think we should deplore such verbal attacks .. that's why we should all insist that Obama return Maher's $1M donation. I'm sure X would agree with that. ;>)

I have not seen any posts where you were called a "cunt." You claim you don't post on open boards but your posts on this board appear to contradict that. Should we conclude that you pretend that you don't post on open boards instead? Sort of like you pretend that people us Bill Maher language to describe you? You will be treated the same as everybody else here and that may be hard for you. If so, you can use your freedom to leave and return to the safety of the echo chamber.

I did a search and see no such word used here. It might have been disguised with an asterisk or something else. The fully spelled word has not been used here. Be that as it may, you engage in the same kind of behavior you decry at your forum. Thus, I don't understand why you expect to be treated nicely when you venture out of there. You create a lot of resentment by insulting folks who cannot respond. You'll (understandably) get your head chopped off when you appear at a forum you cannot control. Responding with a 'poor pitiful me' attitude is also nicely passive-aggressive. I can understand why you wish to post elsewhere: Your forum has become stale. But you have offended so many, you attract a legion of attackers. Some are on the less-than-rational side of the divide. But it's a bed you have more than partially made. You are not 100% responsible for the way you are treated. On the other hand, disclaiming responsibility and playing the victim is hypocritical.
