What is aipn waiting for? I assume sufficient cash to make more than a token attempt at exploration. Let's throw the "big picture" back at em with this:

Time is the fact that Wavetech is still processing and now acquiring 1250 km of new data. That isn't accomplished overnight. They were originally trying to start acquisition of the new data around the middle of November. That's if all went well and no logicstical problems, equipment problems, etc. etc. etc. So I doubt that they have finnished that siesmic progarm. Or for that matter what area are they shooting.

Let say they devote a couple of 100 km. on one side of the lease. for confirmation and calibration purposes. Then they mobilize to acquire the bulk of the siesmic from Chikuduk. That could take you into next year. BTW in this latest PR release they are now pushing the drilling back to 2nd Q, not the 1st Q as early suggested during the Woody craze.

They can't sell what not their's. This isn't a matter of them selecting 10% and then selling the rest off. They select 10% and return the rest back to the government. The government will re-auction or award the rest to whomever, to include AIPN. AIPN will not recieve financial reward from that auction.

However, I haven't look at this closely (new release). There is some points that need a bit of further explanation for me. Right now, I'm extremely busy and haven't the time to devote to track those down.
