That is a very interesting post, probably the POD (post of the day) for me. Thanks for doing so.

Florida will turn out to be very interesting. Romney may have a solid lead now. But does he pick his running mate from Florida to maintain that lead or does he pick one from say Ohio or some other state where he is a tossup. Obama has a good chance of turning around Florida to his column after he hits the road i n real earnest. The senior population there, primarily Jewish, would come out for him when they find out more about the Israeli-German-US joint venture involved in Stuxnet which caused considerable damage to Iran's nuclear facilities. The Jewish folks who have shed a lot of blood for their security will credit Obama for taking the lead in showing them the the pathway to achieve their goal without a drop of Israeli blood being shed.

Ohio will ultimately tip for Obama even if Romney picks his running mate from that state. The jobs created by the ancillary auto industry headquartered in that state would be the reason. And then Virginia looks like tipping towards Obama since the rate of unemployment is low. The high numbers in unemployment that the press and Republican party are yelling about are mostly in solidly Blue states such as CA, NY, PA, IL etc.

I think FL is reverting to its red state ways but I think OH will go Obama.

But I am glad to see the Obama campaign gearing up and laying the ground work for Obama to hit the trail after Labor Day. And around that time, due to the low gas prices we see today,, the economy would reflect a rebound too because that is what has historically happened with "Back to school", low gas prices etc.

Low gas prices for everyone except WA state. ;)
