Many of these liberals out there aren't true leftists, they're simply stupid beyond imagination. Since they've been repeatedly clubbed over the head with Obama's radical leftist policies, they are waking up and saying "no!" Two good examples from this afternoon are Hollyweird liberal, Joan Rivers [1], and even many union members [2]. As I read through the stories below, I am reminded of your excellent analogy about asking liberal students if they are willing to practice what they preach and accept lower grades so that those who never study or apply themselves can receive higher grades. Likewise, how many employees at McDonalds would be willing to accept a lower salary so that the idiots who always come in late, have disgustingly dirty uniforms, and create more work and misery for the rest of the team can receive higher salaries? Any votes for liberalism there? The same idiots will say "no" and then vote for the fascist radical and illegal alien, Muslim Soetoro. ---1. Joan Rivers: ‘I hate Washington’ politico.com excerpt: In an interview with Politico, Rivers said, “I’m also being chastised because I work 18 hours a day and make a living. I feel that I’m part of the 2 percent and I’m really not interested in a woman who has 95 children and has 95 husbands. I think the Chinese have it right: You each have one children, two children and you take care of them.” Rivers agreed with the notion that the president’s policies were unfairly harsh to the rich, saying, “I think if I work very hard, I should be able to gather the fruits of my labor. And I think if you’re not about to work, you should get minimal and leave me alone. I think if you don’t wear a helmet and you fall off your bike, you pay for the doctor.” --- 2. Now union members are deserting Obama washingtonexaminer.com excerpt: Two new and disturbing polls just out suggest that the road to reelection is getting tougher for President Obama. In the most significant, Gallup found that union member support for the president is weaker than it was on Election Day. While Obama took 67 of the union vote, according to 2008 election night polling by Peter Hart for the AFL-CIO, Gallup discovered that just 58 percent of union members back the president now. Some 35 percent support Mitt Romney, 5 percent more than Sen. John McCain won in 2008.
