Spare me your sentimentality. It comes across as hypocritical when you have been a big support of the bank bailouts and ongoing theft of taxpayer money funneled to prop up the banksters and the top 1% in this country. If you want to really help the 99%, then stop the bankster criminality and theft. The top reason we are in this mess is that the financial industry has gotten so big, it now outstrips the military in terms of the transfer of wealth from the 99% to the 1%. But you are too blind to see it. This ongoing crisis is a FINANCIAL crisis and it is destroying jobs every day all around the world. So you act so holier-than-thou with your love of food stamp programs, but a real bleeding heart will focus on root causes, not symptoms. The man collecting food stamps for his family doesn't want the damned food stamps...HE WANTS A JOB! So don't sell me your platitudes and fake empathy for the 99%. Everyone here knows that you have been a big supporter of the banks and the top 1%. Foodstamps are the bread and circuses you throw at the masses. But the masses don't want your handouts. They want their money and jobs back from the financial destruction that your buddies Bernanke, Geithner, Obama, and the Financial Industry elites in this country continue to destroy. You want to do something? Then support OWS. They are the only group, besides the Ron Paul supporters in this country who understand exactly where the epicenter of this calamity is.
