Yep. I can really understand the struggle of the educated non-Americans to understand the very strange nature of the American mind and that odd juxtaposition between capitalism and horse trader reasoning and daily astrology checks and prayer rituals! The rest of us feel as though we are looking into a menagerie and watching exotic animals with inexplicable behaviours. Perhaps it keeps the male element from becoming too harsh, unpredictable, and dangerous? There is a sort of feminine (intuitive) energy in all that irrationality that perhaps makes the rest of the world just as little bit safer?
