If by LU you mean Paradyne, that is NOT a given (though I am sure that Globespan would prefer it to be). LU doesn't yet HAVE an ADSL technology... though some would presume that with their strength in DSPs, they are likely working on one.

With the premium that WCOM places on bandwidth, no doubt Ebbers will push every bandwidth tech possible. Getting that local unbundling will be a challenge, though...

as for as i know, the MCI trial is going well. as for WCOM, uunet is a part of the company. it is rumored that they are going to start offering PAIR IDSL and HDSL.
