No vote is wasted. Interesting, though, most people I talk to tell me they won't vote third party, because their vote is wasted. I wonder if a third party would be viable if all those people would actually vote their conscience instead of always voting for the lesser evil.

I'm going to break with tradition and write in Ron Paul. I'm tired of voting for the lesser evil. I'm going to vote for the guy who I think knows the most about how to solve our economic problems. IMHO, that man is Ron Paul. There's one caveat to this. If Hillary runs against Obama, maybe I change my mind.

I'm prone to changing my mind. At one point, I thought I'd vote for Romney, but he's too mainstream GOP. Or maybe he's just too leaflike. He blows with the wind and has no convictions. So I just can't stomach voting for him. But I really disagree with Keynesianism, which is what Obama has banked his Presidency on. So we must part ways. I do like Obama, though. I think he's a man of integrity. I think he brought some style, intelligence, and class back to the Presidency. For that, I give him high marks. Too bad, we're so diametrically opposed on economics.

Manalagi, here's what Benjamin Franklin had to say about voting in a Democracy. Remember, we are the lamb. Make sure you vote your conscience, not how the wolves want you to vote.
"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!" - Benjamin Franklin
