Would tend to agree with Dwight - especially in retail the story is that "if you aren't 90 days early, you're late!!!"

XMas would most definitely play a HUGE role here. The danger for any mfg'er in retail is the lack of brand loyalty. You see what you can buy, and you buy the best you can see. If it ain't there (from a single brand-name perspective), no one will buy it (which is why CPQ was so successful initially with the sub-zero PC - no other ones around!).

Q4 results are going to be crucial determinants for the outcome of the stock performance in the next few months... Look at the surprise Dell's good results has caused: the whole world (myself included) would have thought that Dell's results would have sent bullish signs for the CPQ stock as well - and look what actually did happen!

Best regards

Kai

DWIGHT --- YOU ARE MOST DEFINTELY RIGHT - I HAPPEN TO BELIEVE THEY HAVE IT UNDER CONTROL AND WILL REDUCE IT EVEN FURTHER . SOMETHING IS ALSO TO BE SAID FOR CHRISTMAS - IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE PRODUCT IN THE RETAIL CHANNEL YOU CAN NOT SELL IT !

BEST WISHES
