that talked about the troubles at Lotus and made the following comments about SYSF's new COO...

"But the departure that hurt the most was that of Besemer. The 11-year Lotus veteran, 43, will become COO of SystemSoft Corp., a Natick, Mass., company whose software resolves operating problems between personal computers.

"That's the real departure of consequence," said Lotus President Jeff Papows in an interview with Inter@ctive Week. "Deb is an extremely serious, extremely successful executive. She was a partner in a sense."
