Life is constant change, Maya. Timing is everything. Last summer I said we were witnessing a bear market rally when I was long the stock. If you recall, I also said last summer that I was long term bearish but short term bullish on Cube. Investing is a cold business based on logical analysis. Emotional identification with a company is a sure recipe for loss of capital. Why is Cube sliding? The stock market is a discounting transcendental mechanism which projects out into the future. 1998 looks bleak for Cube. Pricing pressures, intense competition, DEFLATION in Southeast Asia really taking hold. The Ice Cubes slide should come as no surprise!
