but just think if Bush wouldn't have gone into Iraq ....... we'd have TWO wild men bent on pursuing nuclear weapons in that region.

I think make it THREE -- Qaddafi would not have given up his program. The problem is that somewhere along the way we got in too deep, and lost the ability to apply credible pressure on Iran. Iran was more important than mediating between the waring factions in Iraq.
