Thanks Josh! There's an obvious advantage to being native born and I presume...........besides economic advantages...........why people risk life and limb to come here. A lot of questions do beg answers. Is Obama going to allow conservative illegal immigrants to "come along", but they too will have to "sit in the back?" Since our constitutional scholar of a president can pick and chose, will Obama provide a list of laws average citizens are allowed to ignore? Will these privileged illegal immigrants socially and economically enhance our nation or not? Will the bureaucracy have to grow to create oversight and if so will these people be subjugated to the will of the bureaucracy? Will Americans have to provide more tax dollars to support this bureaucracy? Will congress now (please) get serious and come up with some rules on immigration we can all count on and understand? And after doing so, will they provide the resources so those rules can be consistently enforced? Will the federal government deport any illegal person allowed to stay here and benefit under these new rules if he/she commits a felony? Will more illegals come across the border hoping that if they hide long enough they will be granted amnesty and/or a dream act? Since he knows "they are Americans in their heart, in their minds..." and has decided he has the authority and moral imperative to pick and choose which of our laws he will enforce, does that mean he really is God? Is this His way of saying see the Constitution should say what government should do, not what it can't do? Is president Obama saying that the president through the checks and balances can say that breaking the law isn't breaking the law anymore just by his executive order? I'm sure there are more.
