"to say there is NO god, is in my OPINION and ignorant statement"

"and ignorant statement"?
Do you think so?

To say there is a god would be an ignorant statement because it lacks proof or even any semblance of evidence. When an atheist says there is no God it is not because they can prove there is no god--it is because there is no evidence presented by those most desperate to assert the contrary. In other words, the atheist is simply stating there is no flying spaghetti monster. The assertion is unproven whether Bertrand Russel or Asimov or Einstein--or you or I say it.

Evolution directly contradicts all the anecdotal tales and all the doctrinal claims of gods from all cultures and social groups. So if there is a god it is one that nobody has yet invented. -g-

I can easily prove this claim by comparing the facts of Science with the superstitious assertions made by non-scientific people. What do you think we should teach our children in school? The views of Science (as we do now)--or some religious accounting of human history? If religion instead of Science, then which god and why that one?
