" that has nothing to do with a god" Sorry. Thousands of gods have been imagined, worshipped, and forced down the throats of innocent people. If the belief in god flowed from a scientific path and represented scientific research in any way, shape, or form, then all rational people capable of doing science would believe in the same invisible deity and for the same reasons! There is no scientific rationale for anything remotely like any deity I have ever heard discussed. Feel free to point me toward any of those many thousands of imagined gods that have any support from Science. I think it is silly to believe that pigs can fly. I know I could be mistaken--but without any evidence, I will continue to deny the claim. And your claim that god exists, I also find absurd for the same reason. Asimov said that, "To surrender to ignorance and call it God has always been premature, and it remains premature today." You have offered me no basis to dispute the wisdom of his insight. But please do feel free to "believe" in "god". Just do not waste my time in trying to convince me, if your only argument is that you enjoy believing in it. On the other hand...evidence for god or against Evolution is welcomed!
