There is virtually no chance that you're right on this prediction. No court is going to find that requiring a food producer to accurately label its product is an interference with interstate commerce, and the doctrine of federal preemption applies only when the feds have enacted comprehensive legislation. That's not the case with the labeling of GMO products.

Also, if it passes it would be a public relations nightmare for a producer to challenge this in court. Ed
