Obama lost his mandate in 2010 when the house went Republican. Although I believe there is a financial crisis among us that is as deep as the 30's depression I don't believe as of yet the opposition party is convinced of this, and a good deal of Americans remain skeptical also although they are starting to come around.

Clinton's political coup (with the electorate) on reforming welfare was done with Republican help.

Great. So all Obama has to do is pass legislation without getting a single Republican vote. Why is he such a dummy that he doesn't get that?
