I did not know that was how MSG worked. Thanks for mentioning that. I have to avoid processed food, so we don't get a lot of MSG in our diet, but it's good to know how it works. I used to love Progresso soups, but they have modified food starch (if I remember correctly)- and I wrote asking them if they would consider offering an organic version of their soup (because organic corn/modified food starch (which is usually wheat or tapioca in organic foods), doesn't bother me)- but so far, no joy. I'm glad you saw a change that worked for you, though.
