ive never seen a dell at someone's home
I have a friend who has one. I have several more with Compaq's though. And more than that even with "no name" brand (me included, but I can be forgiven I got it last year and didnt have any dell or compaq stock then.)

Now Steve, I have a Dell at home, since Nov 95. Other than a video card replacement (tech came to my home within 24 hrs), it's a sweet running machine. One of the reasons I went with Dell is they had the Quantum Fireball HD with MR heads..two years ago. My application (accounting/tax) is very disk/data intensive, so I wanted the state-of-the-art. Oops, I hope this doesn't disallow me from being bullish on CPQ. -GG-
