I'm not sure that Obama has a sustained game of hardball in him. It doesn't seem to be the way he rolls.

No telling what he could have gotten the first 6 months his mandate was so strong, but he never used it. Even health care he turned over to congress which fiddled while his mandate evaporated.

And Summers and Geithner over Krugman and Stiglitz when facing a 1930's depression. Really?

He never did anything for the real estate market, or middle America.

But he won't get us in a nuclear war and wiil appoint moderates to the supreme court. Romney might get us in a nuclear war and he would appoint more Scalias to the bench..

You mean the Joe Lieberman who was told by Obama, "vote my way or lose your chairmanship"? That one? Yeah, I missed discussion, too...

Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) is threatening to help Republicans block a vote on health care reform.

When reporters asked Lieberman if he'd be willing to lose his powerful committee chairmanship as a consequence, he said: "Oh, God no."

Yes, Joe. It's time for accountability.

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow reported the progress of this petition:

"too naive to understand that he had to play hardball "
