LOL. That guy is very hopeful. I hope you aren't taking his investment advice to invest in "companies that cater to US Consumers". He is dead wrong. The consumer in this country is seeing their wages and earnings power shrink, even as their purchasing power is hammered by the Fed. In addition, they are likely to see their taxes go up. All the consumer data I've seen is in a downtrend and accelerating. I wouldn't own a retailing stock today. That's pure folly. And no, the US is not immune to Europe and China. The "fortress US" meme is stupid.
