Unfortunate this is not only in Canada discrimination and abuse of immigrants are in most Western countries and this IS a disgrace.

My point with Greece was that those restriction are imposed on the younger generation born and educated in Greece and similar situations are in Spain and Italy.

As an example many older attorney or CPA's or other similar profession in those countries have their licenses and do nothing except charge maximum fees if at all they work and are waiting for someone to buy them out at unreasonable high prices and this extortion repeats itself again and again.

Would they issue free licenses to practice law, accounting RE assessors etc., to educated and qualified young people the prices of those services would go down productivity up and unemployment down generating more growth and more income taxes.

Unfortunate the old professional “farts” do nothing and are holding sway over the younger generation and squeeze whatever they can from the younger generation if they want to enter the workforce of the various free professions.
