You are really struggling with this. Take a deep breath. Now we can leave the picture out of it, don't you see? We have your misunderstanding conflating scientism with nihilism (which was what I accused you of doing--uh huh??). And we have me fingering you for it. Don't try to hide behind a picture. You said what you said. You conflated scientism (the scientific method as a path to knowledge) with nihilism--and you were called on it. "Hard Materialism which underlies Scientism leads DIRECTLY to the conclusions of Nihilism. It sucks to be you, but everywhere you go: there you are!" Firstly, I will ask you politely once again to stop personalising this discussion. Thank you. Now, you have changed scientism to hard materialism--and before long we will be a million miles from where we started. Scientism and nihilism are two completely different things. That is what I meant to teach you. Job done! Science is a good thing. It does not necessarily lead to any particular philosophy. Some scientists are even religious. Certainly, the philosophy of nihilism is not common. Indeed, there are innumerable forms of nihilism which are completely different so that your statement is absurd from the get go! You go into a discussion throwing stuff at the wall and running around like Peter Rabbit but you are trying to impose an sophomoric fiction on to scientists. The truth us that if you interviewed a representative group of scientists, you would find very few adherents to nihilism. Stop trying to demonise people with your twisting and shouting. You fool nobody. What you are really trying to say is that without a Christian sky flyer there is no meaning. And that is just utter rot! There are an infinite number of meanings. All people decide what life means to them, just as you have. You are nothing special!
