I am in the position of Louis Pasteur tyring to explain to you, something you cannot see (stole that-lol).

I joined the counter culture movement very early on. Ken Kesey early and knew some of that group.

I have often thought of writing a book myself about it, as so many get it wrong.

My trying to explain it to you is exactly the same problem we hippies had in trying to explain what we were doing to the straight world then.

I was ostrasized by almost everyone when I moved to the counter culture including my dad (right winger). We had one table in the cafeteria for the "hippies". 22,000 students and we had one table.

I was there at the beginning and the end and I know what we were doing and thinking.

Bob Dylan said it all: "something is happening here, and you don't know what it is, do you Mr. Jones"?

You and John are not understanding it. I don't blame you, as maybe you needed to experience it. But I did experience it and about as first hand as one can.
