Edit:
"Do you deny that you tried to misrepresent science by pretending it leads inevitably to a philosophy of nihilism??"

I absolutely do and you are fully aware of the difference between science and scientism. Therefore you are FLAT OUT LYING!

I laid it out plainly enough for any honest person to see and carefully qualified my position, by citing hostile sources that agreed with what I put forward.

"Hard core Scientism leads directly to Nihilist conclusions about life's most important questions."

Unlike the use of the scientific method as only one mode of reaching knowledge, scientism claims that science alone can render truth about the world and reality. ... In essence, scientism sees science as the absolute and only justifiable access to the truth.

I have not conflated Nihilism with Scientism. Rather I say that the logical outcome of embracing Scientism, (which entails a hard Materialistic, Philosophical Naturalism) is Nihilism.

"it should be also clear that were materialism correct, the world would be without purpose and our life without meaning. Morality, which must assume free will, and thus responsibility for immoral acts, would be a delusion." http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/DPF.CHAP32.HTM
