DEC plans to sell its network division to Cabletron. The new DEC network division will then sell products from Cabletron (instead of from MRV???) and DEC's customers aren't too happy. headlines.yahoo.com

it looks to me that the uptrend started 11/13, as stated by others a few hundred appends ago. i haven't seen any big volume since then so i think we're heading up. the support on 11/25 at 25.20 forms a nice up trend. if you look back in march, the bottom then up 2 small up legs, and then a 1/2 month down leg before it ran up to 26. if we repeat this then we're either in the middle of the 2nd up leg, or at the beggining of the down leg. within 1.5 months we should see 30 again. yes, 28 has been nasty the last 2 weeks, it seems just as likely for us to bounce off of 28 and go back to 23 before going back above 30. however, there was a steep downtrend line broken the day after hitting 23.xx so i'm hoping for the uptrend now. the next few days will tell, as always...
