Single Payer would make it simple. Single payer is exactly the opposite of a simple solution, govt meddling in every coverage decision. If you want simple, drastically reduce regulation. Let the insurance companies offer any plan that they want, and let the people choose whatever coverage they want. One of the biggest problems in healthcare today is the ever increasing list of coverage mandates. That more than anything else is why insurance costs are rising so fast.
